Two ingredient dough is so easy to prepare and is made without yeast. As the name suggests you only need 2 ingredients - Greek yoghurt and flour - and you'll have a dough that can be used to make pizza, scrolls and rolls.

Scale
Place Greek yoghurt in a mixing bowl and give it a stir. Add in 1 cup of flour and stir to combine. Gradually add in more flour until the dough starts to form into a ball.
Tip the dough onto a well-floured surface and knead with your hands for a minute or two. If the dough is still too sticky, add some more flour and continue to knead. The dough is ready when it is able to hold it's shape and is not sticking to your hands or the surface.
You can then use the dough how you wish! See Notes for suggestions.
Using Two Ingredient Dough
If you're making pizza, you can either roll out your dough with a rolling pin into a large pizza base, or divide into 4-6 even pieces and roll out for mini pizza bases.
Top with your favourite toppings, then cook in the oven (200C / 390F) for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown and crispy, and then cheese is melted.
If you're making scrolls, you can roll out your dough into a rectangle shape, sprinkle over your favourite toppings then roll it up tight and cut into 8 even pieces.
Place on a sheet pan and cook in the oven (190C / 375F) for 15-20 minutes until the dough is cooked through.

Sounds great, but can you freeze it?
February 2, 2020
Hey Kimmii - yes you can. I wouldn't freeze it in a big ball, but if you roll it out into say little pizza bases and freeze with a little baking paper in between that would work well. But honestly it's so easy to make up I never freeze it - just make a fresh batch!

Thank you so much for this recipe, it gave me the courage to have a go. My father, grandfather and uncle were all bakers and confectioners and I’m not brave enough to have a go at the yeast recipe!

I must admit to being a bit apprehensive on yeast doughs myself but it's on my list for this year to tackle and conquer! Yoghurt dough is wonderfully easy thought isn't it 🙂

Can these be made with gluten free flour?
February 28, 2020
Hey Melanie, I haven't personally tried with gluten free flour but a reader did and had great success. Just make sure you use a gluten free baking powder too if there's not one already in the flour 🙂

Hey Anita - it works well as a flatbread but I don't think it would work as well for say like a sandwich loaf. Enjoy!

Can you substitute almond or coconut flour for a keto version
May 1, 2020
Hey Pilar, I haven't tried either of those flours. I know that a gluten free flour blend works but that's usually a mix of flours. Can always give it a go - I assume you'd need more flour then what is written though. Thanks 🙂

Greetings from Australia Cassie,
Trying this recipe for the first time. Can I make it the day before and keep in fridge?
April 26, 2021
Hi Maryjane, I have made this dough in advance before and kept it in the fridge, so can be done. But honestly I prefer it made fresh 🙂

Iv really been looking forward to giving this a go. I made Cheesymite Scrolls. Air fryer at 185c for about 13 mins. They turned out VERY doughy. Where have I gone wrong??
April 26, 2021
Hey Kylee-Anne - it sounds to me like they just needed to cook a bit longer. I do my yoghurt dough scrolls in the air fryer on 180 for about 15 mins usually, but if they're still doughy inside they definitely need longer. Did they get lots of colour on the outside? If so just turn the temp down next time and aim for about 20 mins or so.
