You only need 6 ingredients to make this smoothie for yourself!  Full measurements listed in the printable recipe card below...

  • Baby Spinach Leaves
  • Apple - use any apple you like. I prefer pink lady apples as they add a lovely sweetness.
  • Banana
  • Lime
  • Chia Seeds
  • Filtered Water - you can use coconut water here if you'd like but honestly it's not necessary.

It couldn't be easier to make this smoothie.  Simply throw all the ingredients in a high performance blender and blend until smooth.

💭 TOP TIPS FOR THIS SPINACH APPLE SMOOTHIE RECIPE

  • If you find your spinach apple smoothie is quite thick after blending, add a little more water and blend again!
  • I use the cup attachment of my blender when making a smoothie.  It's easier to clean than the jug and perfect for a single serve.  If you don't have a cup attachment, the jug works exactly the same.  
  • I generally freeze banana slices and spinach so I always have some on hand ready for smoothies. This is really handy, especially since bananas and spinach are both notorious for not having a very long shelf life!
