Sautéed Cabbage is the easy and healthy side dish you need!  I know we're all a little scarred from being force-fed boiled cabbage as kids and thought we'd never trust another cabbage dish again BUT make an exception for sautéed.

It's buttery and tender and caramelised to perfection.  Not to mention it's virtually impossible to mess up and will be ready in 15 minutes.  It's ticking all the boxes!

Some people believe sautéed cabbage is best served on St Patrick's Day but I firmly believe it has a spot at the table year-round.

Planning your holiday menu?  Add this on!  One less side that will be fighting for oven space.

Sides

Top Tips

  • Don't put the heat up too high.  You want to slowly sauté the cabbage until it's tender and browned, not burnt!
  • Use this recipe as a base to build on and play around with the flavours.  Try adding onions (yum), a tablespoon of lemon juice or even diced bacon for something new.
  • Leftover sautéed cabbage can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.  Reheat and serve.
  • Feel free to double or triple the recipe for a crowd.
