Oven Method
Preheat the oven to 160C / 320F and line a baking sheet with foil.
Melt butter and honey together in a small saucepan on medium heat. Add in peanuts and cinnamon and stir to combine.
Pour the peanuts onto the prepared baking sheet and spread out into a single layer. Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown, being sure to stir every 5 minutes so they cook evenly.
Leave to cool on the tray for a few minutes, then sprinkle sugar and salt on top to taste and mix to combine. Keep mixing the peanuts every few minutes as they cool to stop them sticking together, then serve or transfer to an airtight jar or container.
Air Fryer Method
Melt butter and honey together in a small saucepan on medium heat. Add in peanuts and cinnamon and stir to combine.
Pour the peanuts into the air fryer basket and spread out into a single layer. If your basket is small you'll want to cook in two batches so the peanuts aren't overlapping too much.
Cook the peanuts on 180C / 350F for 8 - 10 minutes, or until golden brown, being sure to shake the basket every few minutes to ensure the peanuts are cooked evenly.
