Instructions
1
Wash potatoes thoroughly (there's no need to peel them) and place on a chopping board. Cut each potato in half lengthways, then cut each half in half again lengthways. Finally, cut each piece in half again lengthways. You should have 8 wedges from each potato – each a similar length and thickness.
2
Place potato wedges, oil, paprika and garlic powder into a large bowl & mix well. Spread wedges into a single layer in the air fryer basket or tray, making sure to keep a little space between them.
3
Cook on 200C / 390F for 20 minutes, flipping half way, or until golden and crisp. Sprinkle with salt and serve immediately.
Notes
Pick a good roasting potato to use – White Potato, Sebago, Russet, Yukon Gold etc.
Like spicy wedges? Sprinkle in some cayenne pepper with your spices!
Don’t place the wedges too close together in the air fryer basket. Leave a small gap in between each wedge.
Keep an eye on your wedges the first time you cook them. Every air fryer can be different and some cook faster! You don't want burnt wedges. Same goes for if you hit the 20 minute mark and they aren't crisp yet - let them cook a little longer.
Feel free to double or triple the recipe to feed a crowd. If you have a smaller air fryer you'll need to cook in batches.

They tasted pretty good, I enjoyed them with mustard (i personally think every other topping is disgusting). They are a bit plain, so expirament with spices in your cupboard! These fries are very easy to make, but I chopped up the potatos more. I would say maybe 10-15 fries per potato. This was pretty good, overall.
